IECC 2018 Code went into effect July 1st, 2019. Are you code compliant?

Stay up to code & teach your contractors, HVAC installers, insulation installers, etc how to do the work done correctly the first time (properly seal duct systems, any openings, etc).

Duct Envelope Tests are preferably preformed during rough-in, while systems, joist, etc. are still accessible & the problem areas can be quickly identified & addressed.

You DO NOT want to fail this test right before occupancy.. because at that point, aero-sealing is your only option if you've messed up & the home is leaky.

While a great option, aero sealing is significantly more expensive, and who wants to spend more money than they have to?

As the saying goes, measure twice, cut once. Stop letting your contractors do sloppy work, teach them what to look for and what to do the first time around.

By educating them, you will in turn receive fewer call backs, higher client satisfaction, & more money in your pocket as you won't have to send your guys out multiple times to fix what should've been done correctly from the get go. Your contractors can't perform better if they don't know better.

It's 2019, code is the bare minimum. Do you want your company to be known for mediocracy, the bare minimum? Or do you want to be known for excellence & superior work?
