Very knowledgeable. Did a thorough inspection using blower door test and infrared to identify places where my home needed more insulation. The report was easy to understand. It recommended which projects I should do first and which would have the biggest payoff. Highly recommend!
I attended a home inspection on behalf of my buyer last Wednesday with Tom Janczak and I couldn't be more impressed. The inspection was very thorough and detailed yet I didn't feel that he was an alarmist. His suggestions were practical and reasonable from my perspective. I've added Insight to my personal list of vendors that I hand to clients, I've also asked the office manager at BW Downers Grove to add it for the office as a resource.
Joe and Dave provided excellent recommendations for improving the efficiency of our house. They were able to figure out why a pipe was freezing. Also Dave helped us to determine the root cause of condensation and that prevented us from replacing the roof at no extra cost. They are coming back to do the follow up energy audit that was part of the audit we purchased. Excellent customer service and highly knowledgeable.
